Lough Dan School

Along the Old Bridge part of our PURE Mile the Lough Dan School used to be situated. This small school was established in 1869 and eventually closed in 1967. The old school itself is currently a private residence. Older residents of our PURE Mile used to go to this school and a lot of people in the area remember it being there.
